cburns1022
Racinelighthouse,When you purchased the Iron Horse on Hotwire, do you by chance remember if there was a Trip Advisor rating listed? I'm trying to narrow down the Intercontinental vs. the Iron Horse. They are both Hotwire 4* with the same ammenities: Fitness, Restaurant, Business, and High Speed. I thought maybe by knowing if your Iron Horse purchase showed a T.A. rating, it might help me eliminate the Intercontinental. I'm REALLY interested in getting the Iron Horse. Link to comment

thereuare
...do you by chance remember if there was a Trip Advisor rating listed?Just so you don't read too much into the inclusion/exclusion of a Tripadvisor rating, note that i've seen TA information appear/disappear for the same hotel, so while it might add a little insight, i wouldn't put too much weight in this aspect. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. cburns1022
Thereuare,Yes, I understand. The 4* that I saw listed on Hotwire had a T.A. rating of 4 out of 5, which matches the Inter-Continental. If possibly Racinelighthouse's purchase of the Iron Horse showed a 4 1/2 or 5 out of 5, I thought it might add a little insight. Just a thought. Link to comment
thereuare
Yes, if the TA info was provided it would assist in an ID, but i thought you were trying to confirm the ID by the lack of a TA rating (ie- if the OP's purchase of the Iron Horse didn't show a TA rating while another users purchase of the InterContinental did show a TA rating... i wouldn't necessarily make the conclusion that a 4* offering with no TA rating is the Iron Horse)Hope the above makes sense. If you'd like further help for your own stay please start a NEW TOPIC.Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
