Hi there,

Anyone know if there are any hotels with Priceline in the "North" area? I see none listed in the hotel list, but I can't imagine that there are none.

Unfortunately, if there are none listed on the site's listings, then none have been reported to the board yet.

It is pretty odd. I can look at the PRICELINE hotels (not by bid) and check out the map view and there isn't even 1 hotel in the North Zone.

I will go with my gut and try some bids.

Hi there,

I did do a bit of research for bids on the 5* hotels and the lowest accepted bid (lately) was $78 so when they accepted at $76 i was quite happy!

Here are my bids:

Zone 2 $70 Nope Offered free rebid if I go up by $22

Zone 2,3 $74 Nope Offered free rebid if I go up by $22

Zone 2,1 $76 Won!

This Hotels location in Amsterdam is perfect right next to Dam Square!

I believe there is a 3* Tulip Inn in the Amsterdam North area, and this is one that PRICELINE can offer via bidding.

Unless you have a very specific reason to be there I'd avoid Amsterdam North. It is a residential area the other side of the harbor from the city with limited transport connections.

My guess is Amsterdam North is across the "Ij", trust me, unless you have a fondness for waiting in lines for ferries and then waiting for trams you dont want to be there. I just came back and I'm familiar with Amsterdam, it wasn't my first or even my 5th trip there. You want to be in the Centrum. Message me if I can help, but do so within a couple of days because I rarely check this website.
