I am looking at Hotwire for August 4 to 7, 2009. I believe this might be the Crowne Plaza Ventura

This property has not yet been identified, but the Crowne Plaza seems to be a very good fit and would be a very good guess.

I am a bit leery of this particular hotel, based on the tripadvisor reviews of the Crowne Plaza Ventura Beach.

Love the location, although there are many homeless folks in that tourist area.

If it was just for me, I would probably give it a try. But, the booking is for a very difficult family member.

My sister thinks we should put the relatives up in the Embassy Suites Mandalay Bay I will have to discuss our options with the family, and will report back if I book the HOTWIRE option.
