WillTravel
I've been considering Hotwire and see some properties have a pool amenity. This is for Victoria, BC in October or later. It's highly unlikely outdoor pools would be a pleasant thought, except for members of the polar bear swim club. However, I note Hotwire says this about the pool amenity:Pool(s)Property features at least one pool area. (Note: This amenity offering may be seasonal. Please check hours/availability directly with the property.) This sounds to me like just the existence of a pool, never mind if it is actually filled with water or capable of being used, is enough to justify the pool amenity. Could this be the case? If I got a property with a pool amenity and found out that it was an outdoor pool that wasn't in service, would I have a cause for complaint? Link to comment
thereuare
I don't think you'd have much recourse. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
iahphx
It sure would be nice if they were to indicate INDOOR pools. Frankly, it might make me more likely to use hotwire, since the guarantee of an indoor pool (especially with the kids) is worth something during the colder months. Link to comment
