Priceline Hotel: 4* San Diego 10/8-10/10

I see that the Loews Coronado and Westin Horton Plaze have been pinned on Priceline. Would like a bidding strategy for these properties for a 2-night stay 10/8-10/10.

Thru Priceline you can't choose your specific properties.... you only have control over the zone and star rating.

The two hotels you mention are in different zones. As there have been other 4* hotels received in both of these zones, there is no way to target these specific properties.

If you're willing to accept any 4* hotel in either (or both) of these zones we can suggest a strategy, but if you're only willing to accept the Westin or the Loews i think you have a good chance of being disappointed.

Please follow-up your other posts in the ARIZONA and CALIFORNIA forums. Even if you didn't end up using Priceline or Hotwire it's nice to have a conclusion to the hotel search; as well, where and how you ultimately book can help others that are having trouble with Priceline/Hotwire for their own dates in the area.

This inquiry was on behalf of a friend who is picky and will likely now decline the opportunity to save money in fear of an undesireable outcome.
