Prices for these dates were very high, probably a result of something going on in the city as the Hilton Mollino Stucky is sold out for those dates.

Then saw this on HOTWIRE, figured it was either the Golden Tulip or Hotel Plaza, both of which are right across the street from the train station which is a 10min, 1Euro ride into Venice.

Rack rate is 135Euro/night, which is about a 50% savings.

Girlfriend booked the hotel, so I don't think it was done through the links, unfortunately. Although it's a new hotel to add to the list.
