slick_gd
Prices for these dates were very high, probably a result of something going on in the city as the Hilton Mollino Stucky is sold out for those dates.Bid $120 for a 5* Venice - rejectedAdded 4* at same bid - rejectedGirlfriend's attempt:Bid $135 for a 5* Venice - rejectedAdded 4* at same bid - rejectedThen saw this on HOTWIRE, figured it was either the Golden Tulip or Hotel Plaza, both of which are right across the street from the train station which is a 10min, 1Euro ride into Venice.Amenities:Complimentary breakfastInternet1 room / 2 nights$79/night$22.60 taxes and fees$180.60 TOTAL.Rack rate is 135Euro/night, which is about a 50% savings.Girlfriend booked the hotel, so I don't think it was done through the links, unfortunately. Although it's a new hotel to add to the list. Link to comment
