First time user of both PriceLine, and this site (I heard about this place years ago)

Opened at $95 (rejected)

Priceline $128 (countered)

I re-bid $110 (rejected)

"My wife," then bid $120, 5 minutes later (accepted)

With fees, the 2 nights are a total of $266.66

I hope I formatted the info ok. And for the record, I did use your PRICELINE links.

Finally, Hotels.com and Expedia.com are in the $290+tax/fees range for these dates

I am very, very happy.

I bought some nights at the Westin via HOTWIRE, first. When I could not get all of my nights there, I decided to try priceline, as I did not really care where in particular I ended up.

My hotwire was $229 a night, so I was going to instinctively bid $200 via priceline.

I am glad I checked the bidding history here first! Saved at least $80 a night by doing so!

Here is the full bill breakout

Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $120.00 (USD)

Number of Rooms: 1

Number of Nights: 2

Room Subtotal: $240.00 (USD)

Taxes and Fees: $26.66 (USD)

Total Room Cost: $266.66 (USD)
