dlib
Tonight I bid 50$ Downtown San Diego 2.5* for Sept 30-Oct 2 on PL -- deniedThen 60$ at 2* -- denied againI don't really want to go much over $60 and I would like to stay downtown or close to it, any suggestions on strategy. Perhaps add a zone nearby? Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! Not sure how much there is you can do if you've already bid your limit and want to be in that zone.As far as adding a zone, the downtown zone is VERY large, so you may want to say where exactly you need to be as nearby zones may be very far from where you need to be.I saw Hotwire has a 3* for your dates in the Downtown zone for $74/nite and isn't too far from your maximum $60 bid. The amenities listed match those of the Radisson Harbor View so i would say that is the best guess as to the hotel's identity... if you want to target this property you can match the amenities shown in your search to those known associated with this property in our HOTWIRE HOTEL LIST for CALIFORNIA.Another option is to SPLIT YOUR BID, but with a higher star rating avaialbe just over your 2*/$60max i don't think the savings are worthwhile in this instance. Due to the Hotwire 3* available at $74 you may also want to consider raising your bid slightly and trying Priceline again at the 3* level.Let us know what you can do or how else we can help. WillTravel
The Old Town zone should be pretty convenient. Link to comment
