But come to find out the Comfort Inn has a $14 per day parking fee. So the bottom line is that my $40 hotel has become $55.Called PL, and of course, they wont cancel or help to change to somewhere else ... since there's that statement on their site that parking is extra. Never mind HOW MUCH EXTRA!Needless to say, I am not a happy camper! This is the MAJOR disadvantage of using PL.Live and learn. Suffer. And then bid again. :) Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! So is this in the Downtown/Harbor Island zone? And were you upgraded to a 2.5* property (your post indicated this is 2.5* but that you bid 2*)In the future feel free to ask for a bidding strategy before you bid... it's almost never a good idea to use prior posts or lack of reported hotels in an area to figure out what bids won't be accepted.Sorry to hear of your disappointment... hopefully it will work out ok for your needs. Thanks for sharing with the rest of the board.
