jwulf
I was hoping for the Kowloon Hotel, but unfortunately I got the Regal Kowloon Hotel. This seems to have no pool and the priceline discount is only about 25%. But hey, it's still a deal!BTW: Am I entitled to pay the 10% service charge and the 3% room tax or is anything included in priceline's tax and service charge?Congratulations, you got your price of $55 for a 4-star hotel room.Regal Kowloon Hotel Priceline zone: Tsim Sha Tsui71 Mody Road, Tsimshatsui East Kowloon, Hong Kong 852 2722 1818Check-In Date: Thursday, September 30, 2004 Check-Out Date: Saturday, October 2, 2004 Your Offer Price: $55.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 2 Subtotal: $110.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $22.14 Total Charges: $132.14 cheapast rate @website: $90.00 per night per roomrates for other known hotels in this area according to their websites:4stars Kowloon Hotel: $103 per night per room4stars New World Renaissance Hotel: $113 per night per room5 stars Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel and Towers: $282 per night per room5 stars Langham Hotel Kong Kong: $173 per night per room Link to comment
Chris26WI
The Kowloon Hotel doesn't have a pool too (though I am not sure if you can use a pool of a neighbouring hotel there). Link to comment

Chris26WI
Yeah, the Regal Kowloon Hotel is part of the Regal-Hotel chain while "The Kowloon Hotel" used to be part of Peninsula-Hotels (not anymore, I think).Regal Kowloon:Regal KowloonThe Kowloon: (don't know the homepage of the hotel, so here's the tripadvisor-link)TripAdvisorReview Link to comment
