doppelg
Hyatt Regency Monterey 1 Old Golf Course RoadMonterey, CA 93940 (3 star hotel)Check-in: Sun, Aug 8, 2004 Check-out: Tue, Aug 10, 2004 1 room(s) @ $146.00 per night x 2 night(s) $292.00 Taxes and fees: $33.95 Hotel Subtotal $325.95 Total Price $325.95 -----------------------Nice hotel, but a bit on the loud side. Nice, but crowded pool area, excellent restaurant, central location on the other side of the freeway from Cannery Row. This was my second stay here (in November, 2003, I got a Hotwire rate of $99/night) and I would definitely stay here again in the future. Next time, I'll probably try Priceline for a cheaper rate, though. I love Monterey! Link to comment

BEAV
Do you recall if this was designed as a "customer favorite" when you made your purchase? The last time I looked at this hotel on Hotwire (last week) it was designated as a customer favorite. Link to comment
doppelg
Yes, I believe it was a customer favorite both times I've made reservations and stayed there. I would really consider it higher than a three star property. I would rate it at least 3.5, but probably a 4 star hotel. Link to comment
thereuare
BEAV, is Customer Favorite a way to differentiate this from the Hilton? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
