oni Posted September 1, 2004 Author Report Share Posted September 1, 2004 Nope. It's gone. Oh well.Just ended up on priceline.com and got Wyndham Downtown for $75. I started at $50 and added $5 to each bid until I won. I stayed there for free about 3 years ago in a suite which was really nice. Don't know how great a standard room will be after that. I'm just glad i didn't get the hyatt regency again (last weekend for $65). that place was a zoo. Link to comment

oni Posted September 1, 2004 Author Report Share Posted September 1, 2004 It's a few blocks away from Water Tower so that would make it North Michigan Ave. I didn't expect wyndham to come up so i was a it surprised. priceline rated this as a four star hotel. the rating system doesn't make sense to me. i don't think wyndham or hyatt are comparable to say sofitel or even westin. the rating system they have on hotwire makes more sense to me.anyhow, the rooms for wyndham are only going for $115 on other websites but i'm pretty sure this place is superior to hyatt regency. at least i hope so.
