BTR
I saw where electriccity bid $48 and it was accepted. I am sort of late in my bidding and did not have time to wait around... so I bid $51.It was accepted immediate. :) I guess I should have bid lower but I am NOT complaining about the accepted $51 rate! That is incredible and significantly cheaper than anywhere else that I tried to book the hotel for. This is the hotel I was hoping for! Thanks!Don Link to comment

BTR
Hotel was very nice. I was given a corner room on the 15th floor. The hotel offers shuttle service to the Metro (7 blocks away) every 15 minutes and picks up on the same schedule. The room was very nicely equipped as you would expect. The MAX RACK rate listed on the card on the door was $669 per night. I have no idea why anyone would pay that much :)The restaurant was quite expensive but you can shuttle to Chili's or a dozen other restaurants. We chose to walk most of the time. Chili's is about a three block walk. McDonalds is 2 blocks away.Getting in and out of DC on the metro was a piece of cake... even with small children. Link to comment
