Lin
Boston Park Plaza Hotel64 Arlington Street Boston, Massachusetts 02116 617-426-2000Total came out to be $337.70 with taxes and fee for 5 nights. Won this with first bid. Surprisingly, I submitted a bid for $60 for the Newton area and it wasn't accepted. Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding and thanks for posting your results! You gave the total as $337.70, so doing some backwards math i figure the taxes per nite come to $6.35 ($6.35 x 5 = $31.75).If that is correct, and the tax rate is 12.45%, then the lowest acceptable bid would be $51.I haven't looked at this zone in a while, so i was surprised to see the Back Bay and Copley areas have merged :) Have a great trip. Lin
Your calculations were correct. Taxes were $31.75. And, the zone has merged. Backbay, Copley and the Theater District are all one.Hmm...$51? I knew I should've gone lower :) !Oh well. At least the reservation is made....If anyone wants to check the hotel out, their website is: www.bostonparkplaza.comTheir reservation page listed 1 night for $150. Link to comment
