Chillian
Hi, I've used this site (linking to HOTWIRE via BetterBidding after finding the info of course) for some time as I am a frequent HOTWIRE and PRICELINE user. Immediate Question4.5 Star in Puerto Aventuras - Tulum Region All inclusive Dec 8-13. $265 per night (Note: same price whether booking two weeks or two months out) (I checked the hotel list and did not see a 4.5)ResortSuite BeachfrontFood and Beverages Included Premium Beverages Included A La Carte Dining Water Sports/Activities Included Evening Entertainment Included Daily Activities Included Complimentary Breakfast Children's Activity Program (Guessing it's not Spa Palace then)Fitness Center Business CenterLaundryHigh speed internetPoolsSpaSaunaGENERAL QUESTIONThis is first time for Mexico, and I am wondering if anyone has general experience w/Hotwire vs booking in advance with Apple as prices vary depending on resort even with same star rating--e.g., one 4.5 star may be $220 a night and another $395--depending I assume on popularity, facilities, newness, etc. My fear is that I may use Hotwire and get the same $220 room available on Apple for $200 when I'd rather pay extra for the newer, more popular hotel (for example) if I knew what the hotel was. Know what I mean? So I guess the general question is: folks who've used hotwire for Mexico, have you been pleased with the outcome? Link to comment
