Minniemom
I would like to try getting a rental car through Priceline, but I don't see where it asks me what time I need to pick it up and return it. How do you know you will have it when you arrive at the airport? Thanks! Link to comment

mbstone
The OP has presumably, by now, found the drop-down menus with the pickup and return times. It should be mentioned in any discussion of PL rent-a-car times that the bid should always specify a return time that is the same as the pickup time. You might only need the car for eight hours, but what if you later decide you want to keep it for the full 24? All car prices are computed in 24-hour intervals. You do not get any greater availabilty or lower accepted bids by specifying an interval less than 24 hours. If a successful bid is for 18 hours, the contract will say 18 hours; if you then return it in 22, you will get dinged for a late fee. So why would you specify anything less than 24 hours?
