dirtymartinii
Any bidding strategy for Vancouver? 8/1-8/5 Prefer to stay downtown area. Thanks, Link to comment
tilepusher
There are king rooms available at the Delta Vancouver Suites for $119Cdn/night for your dates; book through the Delta Hotels website and use the promotional code PYAH. You're probably not going to do much better on Priceline, and the rooms appear to be fully cancellable if you do find a better deal.If you'd like to try Priceline anyway (using the PRICELINE links here, of course), I'd stick to 4* bidding if you want to stay downtown; a bid for Vancouver at a lower star level has a high probability of getting the Plaza 500, which is not downtown. I'd start at $90 and increase in $5 increments using your rebid zones (which I know you'll check :) ) to $105. Beyond that, I don't think the savings are worth losing the ability to cancel your reservation. Link to comment
