thereuare
The HOTWIRE hotel above is a match for the Inter-Continental so that would be our best guess. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. 87wrangler
Thank you. Would you recommend the Inter-Continental? How does it compare to the Sofitel Water Tower (rated #1 on TA)?-87W Link to comment

AaronJB
The Intercontinental is a hotel that I would recommend to any visitor. It's superbly located right on Michigan Ave, has a really neat history and is definitely a "uniquely Chicago" hotel. If you can get the Sofitel for the same price, I'd recommend the Sofitel. However, if the Intercontinental is quite a bit cheaper, I'd go with it. It really all depends on the price difference, but to answer the question I do like the Intercontinental. You can read the hotel history (and see a pic of the beautiful pool area) here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/InterContinental_Chicago Link to comment
87wrangler
Thank you Aaron and thereuare! I just booked our trip through your Orbitz link. Got the Sofitel Water Tower (and airfare) for slightly less than the Intercontinental (after coupon). Thanks again for all your help and for maintaining such a great travel site.-87W Link to comment
