chisox05
Bidding history:Trying for a 4* in downtown Seattle...$110, $120...waited a few days...$130, $135, $140 rejected.Next day tried for 3* in downtown...$80, $90, $100...rejected and :) .Read positive Trip Advisor reviews for 2.5* properties in Lake Union area so tried that...$75, $90, $100, $110, $120 (almost gave up) $130, $140, $150 ACCEPTED!A lot higher than I was hoping to pay based on what others have been posting here, but it's still half off the best online rate that I could find for that property. I heard that there's a big conference in town starting on 7/16 so that's why the downtown area wasn't available and why the prices went up.Used your PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links many times searching for this one.Now it's on to Portland where I hope the bargain hunting is better!
