wcj1
Finally found my notes from our stay at the Holiday Inn London-Mayfair. Our stay was in March 2004.Overall, we were very happy with our stay here and hope to get this hotel again. LocationThe location of the Holiday Inn Mayfair is great, very close to Green Park Tube. Coming out of the tube, you take the exit to the right (following signs for the Royal Academy of Arts). Up 2 short flights of stairs (about 20 steps in total). Then walk east on Picadilly 1 short block, cross Berekely St, then walk up Berkeley another short block to the Holiday Inn. Right at the tube entrance in a Marks & Spencer which made it very easy to pick up food. There was also a Starbucks on Berkeley. A Boots pharmacy was at the corner of Berkeley and Picadilly. Opposite the Boots is the Ritz.Check-inCheck-in was quick and efficient. Asked for a large room, nonsmoking, and something better than 1 Double. Was offered an upgrade to Executive king for 30 Link to comment
