malou
Pretty good deal! Which is better: rental car or public transpo for going around downtown for a family of 5 - 2 kids and a grandma? Link to comment
WillTravel
If you can stay within the free bus perimeter, public transit wins out. Plus, you can walk lots of places if everyone is up for that. (Not sure if this hotel is in or out of the perimeter or how far.) It's cool there's another 2.5* hotel in Seattle to add to the list :). Link to comment

mucsea2003
It is indeed (226 Aurora Avenue North). However it is not really "downtown" but in an area close to the Space Needle that - as you know - should be separated and named "Seattle Center".And it is located outside the "ride free" zone, but I still would not recommed driving your car from there to downtown. You will pay through your nose for parking. I'd prefer the bus or the monorail, which leaves from the EMP close to your hotel. Link to comment
