jfpTexas
I have looked and can't find it but it could be because I am brand new at this! I am afraid of getting the "wrong" hotel. This hotel is listed on Hotwire (I did it through this website) as a 3* the rate is listed at $160 but the Hotwire rate is $79It is in the LGA areaAmenities: Shuttle, Pool, Business Cente, High-speed Internet access, Fitness center, Restaurant, and LaundryI am thinking it is a Holiday Inn but am not sure...There is another one in the JFK area 3* Hotwire rate $109 listed as $172The amenities are the exact same as aboveWhich of the two would be closer to a subway station? I am visiting family/sight-seeing also Thank you for your help Link to comment
yellowdog
jfpTexas, your trip is pretty far away. Prices and inventory change all the time. And it's look like you not have booked a ticket for your flight yet? And are sure you want to stay in an airport area so many nights?3* at LGA is a match for Crown Plaza.3* at JFK is a match for both Holiday Inn and Doubletree. Sorry but I can't help you with the subway issue. Please use this HOTWIRE link if you decide to book any hotel.Henrik. Link to comment
jfpTexas
We have purchased our tickets and those are the dates we will be there. Should I wait before purchasing hotel room? Thanks!! Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding!LGA is much closer than JFK to Manhattan... but i wouldn't necessarily recommend either of these areas if your intention is to commute to/from Manhattan from here. What is your maximum budget? jfpTexas
$130 Yes, I know that is not much but I am hoping with hotwire I can get a better quality hotel for that price. I have family that lives in Queens area and they recommended me stay around there so they can get me to/from Manhattan and show me around. There are 3 total traveling. Link to comment
thereuare
If you were double occupancy i would think you would have a shot at something within your budget directly in Manhattan, but the triple occupancy severly limits your options. With the two guesses above, i would present each to your relatives and see if either one works better for them, since there is a good chance (i suspect) that they'll be driving to your hotel at times as well as meeting you along a subway line to make the Manhattan commute together (so it's not just important that you're near a subway, but also which subway line).Let us know whatever you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please remember to use this HOTWIRE link to begin any purchases you make.
