bethtoons
4* Seattle Downtown 6/5-6/7 (Saturday - Monday)I've been attempting this one for a couple weeks now, routinely bidding everywhere from $50-$100 a night and not catching anything. I suspect that it's the Saturday/Sunday night combo that's hurting me, and I wouldn't mind paying more for one night if I got the other one cheaper, but I'd also prefer not to change hotels. Any suggestions? Thanks,Beth Link to comment
thereuare
Sunday nite is actually more expensive than Saturday nite. The rate change isn't that significant at the Westin (somewhat more expensive at the Sheraton) and i'd sooner raise my limit to $120 before i split the bid (and guessing/hoping you'll find success at $110). I think that starting at $50 for this time of year is too low to start bidding.Good luck and let us know your thoughts or results. bethtoons
I snuck it in at a dollar less than your suggestion. :) I got a rebid offer at $100 for $122, and basically tried every permutation of zone combos (the math geek in me loves this stuff) working my way up in very small increments from $85. Congratulations, you got your price of $109 for a 4-star hotel room.
