Hotwire Hotel: 3.5* Orlando (Universal-I-Drive North) Crowne Plaza Universal

My dates are 12/10/2007-12/14/2007. I usually have good luck just using Priceline for the only four star in the Universal Studios Sea World zone (The Peabody) but that is not working this time. The description is:

Four star hotel Sea World I drive South Area

Fitness Center, Pool, Retaraunt, Business Center,Laundry, High Speed Internet and Golf.

The price is $79.00 per night.

Is this a new hotel? I do not remember the Hotwire Peabody description ever listing Laundry.

I do have a reservation at the Crowne Plaza Universal at $98.00 as my back up hotel and it looks like this place is also listed at $59.00 as a Three and one half star customer favorite.

Hello Jeff in Illinois.

The hotel you're looking at is most likley the newley upgraded (3.5* before) Rosen Centre Hotel.

The former 3* rating Crowne Plaza is also newley upgaded to well deserved 3.5*. And it looks like HOTWIRE moved it back to it's correct Universal zone also. This is a great deal at $59/night.

Thanks for the reply. I have stayed at the Crowne Plaza Universal before and it is a very nice hotel. I decided against going with the possible Rosen Hotel and used the link above to book the Crowne at $59.00 per night. It was indeed that hotel and I am very pleased to get that rate. Thanks to all.
