AaronJB Posted October 31, 2007 Report Share Posted October 31, 2007 There's a massive convention that starts on 11/25, so all of those people are coming in the day before and driving up hotel rates for 11/24. Unfortunately, I think it's probably going to take a good deal more to win a hotel via Priceline - the only downtown 4* Hotwire has available is over $300. The cheapest regular rate hotel is $339 (Hilton Towers) and many hotels are either booked up or not accepting guests for 1 night.If there's any way you can do 11/23-24 instead, then the kind of prices you have bid so far would be much more realistic for a win. You could even bid slightly less if you were trying for 11/23-24.If you wanted 11/23-24, I'd start with $65 for a 4* in the Millennium Park/Loop/Grant Park area. That may be low, but it's not too far off and you have some time. Link to comment
