Priceline Hotel: 2.5* Ellicottville Wingate by Wyndham

Since I was bidding for a reservation the next day, I didn't want to lowball it too much so I bid $80 for a 2.5* and was accepted. Since this is the only commercial hotel in Ellicottville, I was pretty sure that if my bid went though, this is the hotel I would get. There was also a 2* option, and I have no idea where one would be placed if they successfully bid on a 2*. As far as I can see, no one has ever posted a winning bid for Ellivottville, which is a quaint village, outside of Buffalo. They are home to a major ski resort, so this is good info for any skiers!

I to am looking to go to Ellicottville for 2 nights in Aug/09 and noticed that this is the only winning bid posted ever for that location.

I have been there numerous times in the winter for skiing but this wil be the first time in the summer.

I plan to start low because I have time and see how much it take to get a winning bid.
