ScottBinNH
Initial greeting was their marquis, stating Rooms $59 -- then adding "and up". Oh, for minimum 4 nights. After several minutes waiting for my wife to check in, I parked the car and went in to see what was going on. There's just one clerk, and a difficult client ahead of my wife. "We can only get two beds if we pay another 25% per night" (we bought on Priceline, so they clearly aren't booked up). The clerk is adamant: "that's what you booked". Actually, Priceline only guarantees a king OR 2 x queen bed, not your choice. They've got both: they just have no interest in pleasing a customer -- even when there's no additional cost to them.Wireless access is available, but only through the lobby, although this is Silicon Valley, wireless signals abound.More pleasantries:bed sheets hanging over the balconies, loud music from the room next door being serviced. Oh, and don't eat all their cookies! (sign: "only two cookies per person, please!")Customers paying cash for their rooms will need to fork out cash deposits for the phone and video, $25 and $45 respectively. Most of our experiences with Priceline rooms have been great price-performance. I'd give this property a miss. Link to comment
