peagreenid
It shows a 5* for $180. We are going to spend one night in Seattle pre-cruise for our 20th anniversary. I'd like to get something nice, but most websites I have checked don't even show a 5* in Downtown Seattle. I did find one site that listed the Fairmont Olympic. The amenities listed are Fitness center and restaurant only. Any thoughts? smiles Patty :) Link to comment
WillTravel
From the hotel list at Hotwire Seattle Hotels , the amenities match exactly with the 5* Grand Hyatt. Link to comment
peagreenid
Thanks Will Travel- I seemed to miss the 5* since it was listed amongst the 3*. smiles Patty :) Link to comment
thereuare
The Westin and Sheraton seem to come up a lot on Priceline and both generally get very good reviews.I recently bid this area for an upcoming trip in August and was provided a lot of useful information from other board users. epicureangirl
If you don't mind the cost of the Hyatt, it is my absolute favourite hotel in all of Seattle. I have nothing really bad to say about the Four Seasons -- their service is excellent, the rooms were large, albeit uninspiring. If you really like traditional styles (Queen Anne furniture etc.) I'd pick the Four Seasons. The Hyatt is very urban and stylish and the rooms (and bathrooms) are luxurious in a very modern way.Check the web rate at the Hyatt (must be paid for in full with no cancellations, just like hotwire) before booking -- just to make sure you really are getting the best rate for the date you've selected. peagreenid
Thanks for all of your help. I'm going to review some of the other hotels in the area before I proceed with anything. smiles Patty Link to comment
