thereuare
Summer is typically a slow time in NYC and $200+ for a hotel room seems high relative to the deals we typically see during this timeframe (imo). ebowers
Really? ok. It also says free room upgrade to large Deluxe suite. I thought it might be ok since it stretches into Sept a bit and it's probably refundable if you need. When I went in Aug last time, we booked the Waldorf Astoria for $289 a night, so I thought this was ok but I don't really know that much about pricing during the seasons.Just for research sake I looked at Quickbook and typed in some of the dates. The superier rooms were going for about $60-80 more a night than this rate, even in the summer. Link to comment
thereuare
This may be a 'deal' for this particular hotel... but a 4* hotel can probably be had for less thru priceline or HOTWIRE. runNgun
the upgrade is not to a "suite" but to the next class of guestroom. "This includes a FREE upgrade to an oversized Superior guestroom" it seems the superior are on a higher floor and are priced $30 more than the standard rooms. suites are $500 more per night at this hotel...
