Stayed here on 4/28/07 on a winning bid of $47. This hotel was formerly a Wyndham (for the past two years) and a Marriott before that. This hotel bills itself as the "Harrisburg Hershey Sheraton" but it actually is in the Priceline "Harrisburg" zone.

The friendly check-out desk clerk told us that they had just completed an $11 million dollar renovation. Check-in was also very friendly. We were given a room on the 9th floor which is a Starwood Preferred Floor, without asking, or even knowing that we were members of the Starwood program. Since there were several events going on at the time of our arrival at around 9:00 p.m., we were told to drive around back where there was more parking and also a back entrance. This entrance was actually more convenient for getting to our room. Parking was free. There is a large 6-foot deep indoor pool that connects with a passage-way to a large 6-foot deep outdoor pool. Our room overlooked the pools and the indoor pool was being enjoyed by many families.

The lobby contains a restaurant, bar and market/gift shop which serves Starbucks coffee. There are many fast food restaurants within view of the hotel as well as a Target and Penneys.

Our room was very clean and large. It looked brand new. There was a nice sofa which looked like it was a pull-out bed. Also a stylish leather chair. The bathroom was large with lots of counter-space. Lots of towels. The bed was king size with lots of pillows and very comfortable.

All in all a fantastic deal. Could not have been more pleased.

Stayed here 8/11/07 - 8/14/07; Got on Hotwire for $45.00 per night. Couldn't have gotten a better deal! Large room with 2 double beds (I was originally assigned a king with a sofa pull out but they changed it to 2 double beds with no problem). The room also had a fridge which was great! There was an indoor and outdoor pool, however they were not accessible to/from each other. (It looks like they added a wall of some sort between them). Lots of restaurants/general shopping near by and great location for Hershey Park. I would definitely recommend!!!
