Autumn96
I just wanted post this since savingsbarn was used and someone may benefit from it.Just want to add that I was not the one doing the actual bidding. I was down in Philly and decided to stay the night with my DD VERY last minute. I called her computer illiterate father and had him just type in savingsbarn, then the PRICELINE link and stepped him through the bidding process (oh, it was fun <--- enter sarcasm here) :) So it went like this. 2.5 star hotel Date 4/21-4/22Bid $35 downtown Philly - rejectedadded University bid $37 - rejectedadded Cherry Hill bid $42 accepted.I was satisfied.. cheap place and just wanted a place to sleep the night. However.. I didn't know it was in Jersey (he neglected to notice this until he got the name of the hotel..lol). But it was very close to the Adventure Aquarium we were going to first thing in the morning anyway.I'm so glad I wasn't able to read the reviews on this place.. they are terrible! It would have worried me. We were fine. Had room 444-4th floor. Room was clean. Airconditioning loud but not terribly so. Staff VERY friendly and helpful.Of course we pricelined this place pretty late, then had dinner out, so we really only slept there. Link to comment
