thereuare
This probably is the Embassy Suites, upgraded to a 4*... but it hasn't been reported yet at that level and we don't change the hotel lists until an actual win/results is reported. (mabye you will be the one to report it at a new star level :) )I can't think of any other suite hotels in the Downtown area. Please use this HOTWIRE link to begin any purchases you make.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. frnkrizzo
If it is Embassy Suites, shouldn't I be able to get it on Priceline for less than on Hotwire ?I believe it has come up frequently on Priceline as a 3* property. Link to comment
seningen
I would say yes -- but not for the reason you state. What I have seen is that Priceline can be cheaper than Hotwire for thesame inventory.I don't know how it works behind the scenes. But let me speculate thatif the Embassy Suites releases inventory to Priceline and Hotwirethey'll do so at some (probably very similar) price point - -and it has nothing to do withthe star rating on those sites. Either by contract, or maybe by the shells themselves, the end price differs. It is likely that the$$ coming into Embassy Suites are similar.Just my casual opinion,Mike Link to comment
AaronJB
If it is Embassy Suites, shouldn't I be able to get it on Priceline for less than on Hotwire ?I believe it has come up frequently on Priceline as a 3* property. The issue with that is that there are a bunch of other 3*'s in the area which you could end up with instead. If you really want the Embassy and are happy with the HOTWIRE price, I'd go with that, as at least with that you are pretty assured you are getting the Embassy, as it's really the main possibility the HOTWIRE listing could be.
