foftravel
Hi everyone!A question for those experienced with Vancouver 4* PL bids: When do the hotels generally release inventory to Priceline?I see a lot of Marriott Pinnacle bids winning at aounrd $80 for March. I've been bidding for May, and have went as high as $100 with no luck, not even a counter-offer. So I'm wondering, is this because its really high season in May? Or is it because the hotels release inventory 1 month before, or something like that? Most of the winning bids that I see are for dates that are relatively soon.FOFT Link to comment

thereuare
There is not rule of thumb as to "when inventory gets released" but rates do not look that high for your dates, so i would think it is currently just a matter of lack of inventory rather than your bids are too low for this timeframe.I would book a cancellable back up and continue to try once a week or so for the next few weeks (at which point if still unsuccessful bid more frequently and re-evalute your bid amounts). bunduo
Misery loves company. I have been bidding for a 4 star in dt Vancouver for months without any luck. We won't be there until June 18-19 but it is still very frustrating. I have a cancellable back up but would love to stay at the Sheraton Wall Centre for about $80 bucks. Your post made me feel better. Link to comment
