Jason - Welcome to the board!

1. Please post the area you want to stay in, rating on hotel and maximum rate you want to pay.

2. Please read this post "www.betterbidding.com/index.php?showtopic=23274&. You will also find some very helpfull information under questions and suggestions.

Are all 4 people staying in the room? You know that you can't bid for a room for 4 people on Priceline. You can only bid for a room with 2 people staying in it. If you all are going to stay in the same room is Hotwire a better option for you and your company. They have some hotels for your dates open.

The area really doesn't matter. We're flying into Ft. Laud and will be staying there to attend Spring Training games in Jupiter. All four of us plan on staying in the same room. The rating of the hotel is not an issue for us. We want the cheapest clean room we can get. So if we book on Priceline, will we definitely not be able to all four stay in the same room? Or is it just that two queens can't be guaranteed?

Thanks,

Jason

Unfortunately for your group, what's guaranteed is a room for 2 people. In the lower star categories you might have luck and get 2 double beds, probably not 2 queens. There is also the possibility that you only get one double bed. No guarantees - only that there are no refunds and no exchanges!! :)

As yellowdog indicated, you might be better off with HOTWIRE, where you can indicate that there are 4 people.

Priceline guarantees that the room will acomodate two people... after that it's at the discretion of the hotel. If they're busy (due to Spring Season) and don't have any rooms available with two beds, then they're within their rights as you agree to a room that is only guaranteed to accomdate double occupancy. As well, they're within their rights to charge you extra (and you're at their mercy) for a room with two beds. Lastly, there are some chains at the lower star levels where 'standard' rooms only have one bed.

It's up to you if you want to risk it (i'd highly recommend checking with your friends first!) or you can see what HOTWIRE offers when searching for quad occupancy.

Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
