Priceline Hotel: Help bidding for 5* Strip (7/1 - 7/5)

Hi,

Trying to get a 5* on the Strip for the above dates - Priceline comes back with prices of $275 for the Venetian whenever I put in a bid (have bid up to $117 so far). Prepared to bid up to $150 ATM.

How far off the mark am I? And should I just wait awhile? I know Vegas gets cheaper closer to the date...but if I can get in now for a reasonable price, I'd like to.

Cheers,

Darren

You're going to need to bid higher.

If you're not prepared to do so at the moment, you can book the Bellagio as a cancellable back-up for $199/nite or the Wynn for $199; or what may be the best deal currently for your dates: Aladdin for just $93/nite! All of these are cancellable (always check the terms yourself) so i would book something and then continue to try to better your deal as you get closer to your arrival.
