vash
Hi,Need advice for bidding on a 4* hotel in the Disneyland area, staying three nights (06/17 - 06/19). Would dearly like the Hyatt Regency, but will take what comes. Prepared to spend up to $150 per night (cheaper the better, though).Cheers for any help,Darren Link to comment
thereuare
There is no 4* bidding available in the Disneyland zone. This also implies that you may not be familiar with re-bidding, if not, you should give Priceline Re-Bidding Explained a read and ask any questions that you have.Do you want to try for a 3*? vash
You caught me out...I've read about re-bidding, and understand the concept, but this is my first time doing this so...Yeah 3* is fine - I'm used to Australia, where a Hyatt or Hilton would be classified as a 4*. Link to comment
thereuare
Rates are a little higher than usual for these dates, but with time on your side, i would proceed as follows, using your three re-bid zones:Select 3* Disneyland...Bid $48, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $50, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $52, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $55.Any questions feel free to ask.Good Luck and let us know how it goes. thereuare
In 24 hours from your last rejected bid i'd try again as follows:Select 3* Disneyland...Bid $50, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $60, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $65, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $70.If the above is rejected i would hold off for a bit.Let us know how it goes.
