b e r t
Trying for a hotel Downtown for 9/8 to 9/10Here's what I've tried, so far:2.5* I've bid up to $90 with no luckRates are:BW Exec - Sold OutHI Express - 125.10Homewood Suites - 179Summerfield Suites - 1792* I've bid up to $75 - Don't really want the Inn at Queen Anne - but it hasn't come up lately and has zero availablility.Rate are:Queen Anne - Not Available onlineSpringhill Suites - 149Seems like the typical busy weekend - but the prices aren't that out of whack. What would you guys suggest - bid higher or just keep re-trying at these bids for the next week?I guess I should add that there's a group of us attending the ballgames on Saturday/Sunday, so we would prefer to stay Downtown and not have to drive/cab to Downtown... thereuare
How about the Summerfield Suites which seem to be appearing on HOTWIRE for $121/nite? (although this was for a search of one room... not sure how many you need). It gets good reviews, includes breakfast, and seems like it would only cost you about $2-$3 more per nite than your next best option (Holiday Inn Express). As HOTWIRE also splits the zone into two sections (vs. Priceline's one) it would also be easier to ensure you're in an area that you want to be... assuming the Summerfield Suites location is good for you.How does that work for you? (please use the HOTWIRE links in this thread if you book before replying) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
b e r t
Thanks for the reply, thereuare. After seeing the successful bid of WillTravel, I may try another bid at the end of the week.If that doesn't work out - I'll give the HOTWIRE link a try! Link to comment
