I see from a convention site that over this time there will be several large conventions in town. As I am concerned about availability and high rates I would appreciate any suggestions on the following:If my bids are failing is it likely that I might be more successful with my bid if I do it in two lots (e.g., Sunday to Wednesday and Thursday to Friday) instead of trying to get the full time in one hotel (I might be willing to put up with having to move hotels).In other words is a hotel more likely to accept my bid for fewer days than my usual block of 5 (Sun to Fri). If not I don't want the extra hassle of moving hotels.TIA,Ed Link to comment
