bturner13
Got the following from Priceline UK that confirms that if one has anything other than a UK address, the PL/UK website cannot be used:"Dear BTurner13,Thank you for taking the time to send us an e-mail.Priceline Europe is currently operating in the UK only. The Priceline UKwebsite is available at <http://www.priceline.co.uk> http://www.priceline.co.uk.From there you can Name Your Own Price for our range of products and services in Europe. With a United Kingdom billing address. We apologize for any inconvenience, and hope you give us the opportunityto serve your future travel needs.Sincerely,Cara K.priceline.co.uk Travel Services"FYI--There is no such restriction on the Priceline Hong Kong website. I wonder why! I know one can book on the PL/HK site because I booked hotels rooms in the USA this weekend thru PL/HK using my Florida address! Link to comment
Sam
Hi, Must be a new thing. I am not a UK resident and still have an account with PL UK. :) Link to comment
bturner13
Great! Tell us your secret? Do you have a Europe address or something similiar?Tks! Link to comment
Sam
No, secret I have indeed an european address but since you have to fiddle around a bit, I did just that with the UK address as well. They actually do not use your billing address. So if you have problems as well on the US side just let your address look like an US or UK one. But that is a few months ago. It might be that they changed it. Link to comment
Sam
Needed a new billing address and tried it on the UK. It is still working. I think you have to look your zip-code like an UK one. :-) Link to comment
