There's a 3* condo in miami beach listed - anyone know anything about this?

Hello, I know this has been discussed before, but wondering how much taxi would be from FLL to Miami downtown? We'll probably fly into FLL on 11/5/06, stay overnight in Miami, probably downtown, then cruise out of Miami, then go back to Fort Lauderdale and stay overnight there one night before we fly home.

Any suggestions for either FLL near airport, or Miami near cruiseport? Transportation from FLL to Maimi?

Last i heard (although it has been awhile) taxi fare was about $75.

Our stay would be for 11/5/06 to 11/6/06 **Precruise** and the amenities are:

suite, beachfront, complimentary breakfast, pool, laundry, kitchenette

Unfortunately this hotel has not yet been identified, but personally i would proceed with caution on a 3* rated condo in this area as it could be almost anything i would suspect the quality from one to the other to vary greatly.

There is train transportation from FLL to Mia (less than $5) and there is SuperShuttle which i think will come in to Miami, if budget is an issue. I would be surprised if the taxi is only $75, since i have paid $27 for a 6 mile ride.
