Priceline Hotel: 7/17-20/2006 Sands Adjacent

Attending a conference in Vegas at the Sands Convention Center. Arriving Monday July 17th noonish departing Thursday July 20th after breakfast (7/17/2006 - 7/20/2006).

Looking for a double (likely triple) occupancy room at the Venetian on the cheap if at all possible. Best deal I've seen so far is:

$129 rates for July 2,3,4,5,6,9,13,16,17,18.19,20,26,27,30

Aug 6,7,8,9,17,22,23,24,30,31

Sep 3,4,5,10,17

I'm trying to get at $100 or ideally below. I'm not sure that's possible at the Venetian. Also I'm open to any midrange hotels in walking distance from the Sands.

I'm kinda new to the Priceline/Hotwire thing and could use any and all help!

Hi,

first of all you should book this $129 room (if ithis offer is cancelable) as a backup solution. Secondly, this is already a great rate for this hotel but you can try to get it even cheaper but I have strong doubts that will get it for less than $100. You have plenty of time to give it a try.

I doubt the Venetian deal is cancellable but i would take it... you can try to beat it via Priceline but i'm doubtful you'll be able to... certainly not for under $100/nite (based on current rates).

Promotions that are sent out by the hotel directly are in most of the cases cancelable - as per my experiences.
