<DEAD> Wireless Network for ~$55

This is a pretty good deal and has everything you need to "go wireless" with a notebook computer:

$85 Netgear MR814 Router

$50 MA401 Wireless Card for Laptop

$20 Router Rebate (expires 3/30/03)

$10 Laptop Card Rebate (expires 3/30/03)

$50 Rebate for buying BOTH (expires 2/22/03)

$135 - $80 (mail in rebates) = $55

The first 2 rebates get mailed to New Rochelle, NY which has a reputation for SLOW processing. The $50 rebate gets mailed to Seattle, WA. Since they get mailed to different processing centers and have different offer codes, i don't think there is a problem with using all 3 rebates. The first 2 rebates require original UPC codes while the third asks for a copy of the UPC codes.

ALWAYS make copies of all the information you send to rebate companies and mark a follow-up date on your calendar. You can even use this board's calendar (link at top right corner of the page).... just make sure that you make the event "private" by using the drop down menu, because the rest of us don't care when your rebates should arrive :)

EDIT 2/24/03: Deal now dead that the $50 Rebate on both has expired. The other 2 rebates are avaiabe individually, but not so "hot" anymore, as those two items can frequently be had for similar prices if not better.
