I'm glad you got something as well, and thanks for the extensive bid history. I think I would have bid $32 for a 2* in Fairfax though based on available rates. If you look at the posting right below, I got Candlewood Suites Fairfax (a 2*) with a bid of $30 when the availabe rate at candlewoodsuites.com was $107.63. For your dates, Candlewood is $109, just slightly more; (Best Western is $85 on bestwestern.com). Strange though that nothing came up at 2.5* all the way up to $55 in all those zones.

In any event Trip Advisor rates the BW #2 of all Fairfax hotels and note that on the BW Fairfax web page that it looks like there's a free breakfast buffet for all guests!
