This is in reference to the last person who bought a hotel of this star rating in this zone, it has nothing to do with the underlying hotel currently being offered, so it's meaningless in trying to determine the hotel that you will receive if you move forward with a purchase.

 

Use our new RevealHotels.com tool (or the REVEAL HOTEL button inside the BiddingHelper.com EASY VIEW) to identify the current offering(s)... the one i'm currently seeing is the Encore.

 

If i search to include Friday and/or Saturday nite after your current dates (so 5/1 and 5/2) it looks like the offer changes to The Wynn.

If adding the Saturday before your current dates (4/25) it looks like it also changes to The Wynn. (but Reveal Hotels will indicate which one you're seeing on your own search)

 

Is there a specific property that you are looking for (or trying to avoid)?

I used the BB link to purchase two rooms on separate bookings, however, the BETTERBIDDING8 promocode didn't work on my first booking, but worked on the second. I emailed [email protected] do you think Hotwire would be able to refund the 8% difference for my first booking?

 

I got the Wynn. I have stayed at the Wynn before so would have liked to try the Encore, however, as we needed a room with 2 beds and the Encore was $20 more per night, went with the Wynn. The Saturday night 4/25-26 was $269, averages out to $147 over 5 nights 25-30.

Glad to see you received the hotel you were hoping for and that you like the new Reveal Hotels site.

 

Hopefully HOTWIRE will offer something for the Hotwire Coupon not working for you on the first purchase, but unfortunately they usually do not (i would push for some 'Hot Dollars' as i think that may be the best you can do, which are like a credit to use on a future purchase).  It seems odd that the coupon code would work one purchase but not the other... did you get an error message when the code did not work? (we have had some instances where the code was not set-up correctly by HOTWIRE, but in these instances the code would not work at all for any users, so i have started to test the codes on the first day they are live to make sure they are working correctly, as this one worked fine on Monday morning... but if there is a scenario where the code does not work please let us know so we can replicate the same steps when testing in the future)

Thanks for tips for hotwire and hot dollars. I emailed them a few days ago but still no response.

 

I got the below message, but it was still active date wise. I had a lot of windows open and was double checking prices and offers and back and forth, so may be me.

This sounds like a session expired message... could be that the browser window as open for 40+ minutes. that another window you opened overwrite the data that HOTWIRE needed to complete the transaction, or a handful of other possibilities.  Either way, it doesn't sounds like anything related to the Hotwire Coupon, which when there is an issue is typically of the variety of 'not a valid coupon'.
