Mrsrock25
Okay spending up to $215.00 per night- would really like to stay on property and have on site fitness center. Any suggestions? We’ve always wanted to try a deluxe resort- but that’s total wish list! Link to comment
thereuare
All i'm currently seeing is the Walt Diseny World Dolphin for $188/nite and the Walt Disney World Swan for $188 which depending upon your perspective, may or may not be considered on-site. I'm not currently seeing any of the other Disney properties (Animal Kingdom Lodge, Boardwalk, Yacht Club, etc, etc) offer thru the opaque side of their service... and regular rates start at $385 and quickly go to the $500's . These rates would be indicative of high demand and there may be little reason for these properties to offer deeply discounted (or any inventory at all) to the opaque providers. Would a 3 star property be acceptable? I am seeing: 3* HOTWIRE Walt Disney World - Bonnet Creek for $135.00 Free Internet Resort Shuttle Pool Restaurant Hi-Speed Internet Golf Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Wheelchair Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> Disney's All-Star Sports 3* HOTWIRE Walt Disney World - Bonnet Creek for $144.00 Free Internet Resort Shuttle Pool Restaurant Hi-Speed Internet Golf Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Wheelchair Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> Disney's All-Star Music 3* HOTWIRE Walt Disney World - Bonnet Creek for $160.00 Free Internet Pet Friendly Shuttle Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet ==> Disney's Art of Animation 3.5* HOTWIRE Walt Disney World - Bonnet Creek for $164.00 Free Parking Free Internet Resort Shuttle Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Spa Childrens Activities ==> Disney Coronado Springs Any of the above work for your needs and budget? Mrsrock25
Thanks so much- you’re amazing at this! I’m going to keep my eye out- the Coronado might be an option. We’ve never stayed there before- but I’m going to do a little research! If I see any other ones pop up I’ll definitely be reaching back out- and will post the results of anything I bid! thereuare
Let us know whatever you decide (even if not one of the above, something other than PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, etc)... just keep in mind that any of the offers above could disappear at any time, and sometimes while you consider to search for something better your current best option disappears. If this is currently your best option you may want to consider booking the Corronado Springs (confirm your dates on the landing page) for $180/nite as this is fully refundable up until a few days before your arrival (confirm cancellation terms during checkout)... if you find something better or the HotRate hotel above comes down in price you simply book the better hotel/rate and then cancel this refundable reservation; if nothing better comes along (or if the HotRate hotel above disappears or increases) then at least you have something now that is within budget and that will work for your needs. Keep us updated on your progress and let us know if/how we can be of further help along the way. PS- and thanks for the compliments on the site, we work hard at it and are always happy to hear that others find the information useful Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
Mrsrock25
That is very sound advice!! I think I’ll book Coronado as my backup. Stay tuned for any changes!! Link to comment
TBinFL
Are you a Disney Passholder by chance? Disney has a Passholder deal for the Coronado on those same dates for $159 a night. I'm actually booked there for the 27th and 28th. Link to comment
Mrsrock25
Thanks for the passholder info! We are about to renew ours and should be able to grab that rate if we land with the CS as our top backup choice. I did have one more question on a 5* Hotwire deal currently for $204, Bonnet Creek, amenities on bidding helper include: resort, restaurant, pool fitness, smoke free, hi speed internet, business, golf, spa, children’s activities, blind accessible, deaf accessible, travel accessible, room accessible, bathroom accessible, handicap parking and roll in shower- also $45 resort fee nightly. Would this be the Waldorf or potentially the Four Seasons in your opinion? We originally really wanted Disney property, but might consider offsite for a really nice hotel with transportation to parks- we don’t want a rental car at all! Thanks!! Link to comment
TBinFL
$45 resort fee and a 5 star in Bonnet Creek sounds like the Waldorf to me. If I remember right, the Waldorf and the Hilton in Bonnet Creek are now both Disney partner hotels. They have shuttles to the parks and they're close enough. Link to comment
AaronJB
I'm seeing on HOTWIRE: 5* HOTWIRE Walt Disney World - Bonnet Creek for $204.00 Resort Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Spa Childrens Activities Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> Best guess would be the Waldorf. Please let us know what you decide or if we can be of any further assistance.
