Hotwire Hotel: Hot Rates For Vegas 4/27-29

Taking a short Vegas trip - two days: 4/27-29;  driving and figured staying in the center strip area is best for walking to things.

Looking to keep the rate around $100/nite, not including resort fees and taxes. I think we’ve narrowed it down to: The Linq, Flamingo, Bally’s. (Do not want to get Stratosphere or SLS.)

We may have a third person so looking at 2 queens. Are these the best properties to consider?  Just wondering if any of these are current Hot Rates? Is it worth it to try bidding on Priceline at these hot rates on Hotwire?

Wondering if The Linq or Flamingo  would be better since we want to visit the promenade. But then, Bally’s is connected to Paris for additional restaurants and shops. What to pick. What to pick.

Could this be Bally’s?

4* center strip- Eiffel Tower; Free internet, Casino, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Golf nearby

Thanks for any help and suggestions.

PS. Vets should sign up for a Salute card if staying at any Caesars property. I believe they get free parking at any Caesar property.

Welcome to BetterBidding!

I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you search using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool. (always use this method for your searches/purchases to ensure you're seeing the complete amenity set and for an easy comparison of PRICELINE vs. HOTWIRE, as well as to use our new IS THIS A GOOD PRICE feature).

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities (including any accessible amenities) then what you have listed above? Using this method, below is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for the 4 star hotel in this zone when searching for your dates:

4* HOTWIRE Center Strip - Eiffel Tower for $90.80
Free Internet
Casino
Smoke Free
Fitness
Pool
Restaurant
Business
Hi-Speed Internet
Golf
Tennis
Spa
Blind Accessible
Travel Accessible
Room Accessible
Bathroom Accessible
Handicapped Parking
Roll-in Shower
==> best guess for this one would be Bally's Las Vegas

Also by using the BiddingHelper.com EASY VIEW tab you can click on the GREEN 'What Hotel is This?' button which also identifies this property as Bally's Las Vegas

If you stay 'center strip' you'll be close enough to all of the above, and more, to walk.  As well, there won't be any shortage of restaurants for you to choose from regardless of where you stay.

This could potentially limit your offers and/or increase the price, as most Las Vegas hotels have started to charge extra for rooms with 2 beds (vs. 1 bed) and/or for anything more than double occupancy.  For example, if you change your search above to 3adults you'll see that the price for this same property increases to $117/nite.  However, this offer (thru the BiddingHelper.com 'regular' Hotwire tab) does offer a Bed Choice, and one of the bed choices is 2 Queens for the same $91/nite... you're not likely going to see this with most of the Las Vegas hotels, most will have a higher rate for rooms with 2 Queen beds.  If you'll ultimately be 3 guests and only want to book for 2 (if the price is lower) you can simply only have 1-2 people go to the check-in desk while the other begins to wander around the hotel and check-out the different spots.  I recently stayed in a renovated room at Bally's which was very nice... even nicer than the room i had the following nite at Paris.

Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.

Let us know how you'd like to proceed (or how it goes if you take the offer above) and we'll take it from there.

We will continue to watch rates

You can use one of our other sites, RateDrop, to 'watch' rates for you.

You set the price you want to be notified if the rate drops, and receive an email if it gets there... a big time saver rather than constantly searching on your own (and maybe the price drops and goes back up in between your searches).

Thanks for closing this thread with your decision and just post a reply here should you need further help with a future listing for this trip.
