Me again ~ Looking for your amazing guidance!!

We are ending our San Diego vacation (that  you helped me with) by driving to Las Vegas to spend a few days there.

We will be staying February 20-23, 2019

I am looking at a Hotwire Deal for $88/night that says the amenities include:

Business center

Casino

Fitness center

Internet access

Pet friendly

Pool(s)

Resort

Restaurant(s)

Smoke-free rooms

Hotwire's site states that the 'last person got ParkMGM'.  Is this your guess for this hotel?

Thanks guys!!!

You didn't mention the zone of the property above, but i assume it's this offer (you'll see the full amenity set when clicking the FULL AMENITIES button in the EASY VIEW tab of our BiddingHelper.com tool):

4* HOTWIRE Center Strip - T- Mobile Arena for $89.00
Resort
Pet Friendly
Casino
Smoke Free
Fitness
Pool
Restaurant
Business
Hi-Speed Internet
Golf
Spa
Blind Accessible
Deaf Accessible
Travel Accessible
Room Accessible
Wheelchair Accessible
Bathroom Accessible
Handicapped Parking
Roll-in Shower
==> if this is the one you're seeing, i would put my guess with the Park MGM Las Vegas for this one (which is also consistent with the guess from the green button 'WHAT HOTEL IS THIS?' feature in the biddinghelper's easy view tab)

Does this fit well with your Vegas plans?  If not, let us know more about what you're looking for and your maximum budget (per nite before fees/taxes)

NOTE that you're coming to Vegas over very busy dates... there is one 60K person conference taking place 2/19-2/21 as well as an additional 33K person conference over the same dates.  Vegas can handle this, but is likely the reason for what may be rates higher than what you expected.  It's somewhat rare to see, but explainable by the conference(s) above, that your weekend nite is actually less expensive than your mid-week nites.

Ok you guys seriously are THE BEST! Park MGM is the hotel I was actually hoping for!  I'd been pricing it out for a few weeks! With my MLife account the lowest price I could find was $640 with taxes and resort fees for those 3 nights! I took your guidance, and fur the low low price of $452 we are staying at our hotel of choice!!!

Thank YOU!!!

So, now I'm curious, and advice/suggestions for renting a car?  We want to pick it up in San Diego on February 18 and then drive it to LV on the 20th returning it on the 20th.  Thoughts?

Congratulations on your success!

Glad to see you received a great deal and received the hotel you wanted all along.

As far as renting a car, i assume you are flying out of LAS (and not planning on renting a car again to get to a different location/airport)?

Using the CARS radio button on our BiddingHelper.com tool it looks like a rental is going to cost about $225-$250 all-in (likely due to a one-way rental).  Did you plan on sightseeing/stopping along the way, as  and it appears that you can fly  from San Diego to Las Vegas for about $60-$70/pp (or as los as $46 if you're willing to fly Spirit, but be prepared for extra fees with this fare if you have more than a personal item to bring aboard, which i assume you do).  Flying would not only be less expensive, but it would provide you more vacation time as well as maybe an extra day trip from San Diego (if you leave closer to 2/20) or an extra day trip from Las Vegas (if you arrive closer to 2/18)
