JandC
Hi, I am trying to book the Fairmont Kea Lani for travel date of 4/4/10-4/11/19. We can be flexible by bumping the travel dates to a day befor (4/3/19-4/10/19)e. Hotwire has a 4.5 star hotel (not resort) hot rate. Here is the information: city and zone: Wailea travel dates: 4/4/19-4/11/19 room rate per night: $516 ammenities: Beachfront hotelBusiness centerFitness centerGolf nearbyInternet accessPool(s)ResortRestaurant(s)Smoke-free rooms It shows the resort fee is $40, which is the same as the Fairmont, but also the same as the Grand Wailea. I would greatly appreciate help identifying this hotel. Link to comment
JandC
Hi, I'd love it if someone can help me identify if the Fairmont is a Hot Deal on Hotwire for these dates. I'd love to take advantage of the 11% off Hot Deals today. Thank you Link to comment
thereuare
I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you search using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool. (always use this method for your searches/purchases to ensure you're seeing the complete amenity set and for an easy comparison of PRICELINE vs. HOTWIRE, as well as to use our new IS THIS A GOOD PRICE feature). If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities (including any accessible amenities) then what you have listed above? Using this method, below is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for the 4.5 star hotel in this zone when searching for your dates: 4.5* HOTWIRE Wailea - Makena for $516.00 Resort Beachfront Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ==> the Wailea Beach Resort - Marriott, Maui is the best guess for this one Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
JandC
Thank you for your help! I think I will wait and see if the Fairmont will pop up in the Hot Deals because we really love it there. Do you think it will be added as a hot deal if I wait a little longer? Link to comment
thereuare
There is no way to know if it will appear or not (it's not seen very often and/or we don't see many willing to pay the $500+ price tag). However, if you are interested in this property it is on sale HERE (confirm your dates on the landing page) for $523/nite which is a savings of more than $125/nite vs. the regular rate at this hotel, which adds up quickly and is significant on a 7 nite stay. Even though the HOTWIRE hotel didn't turn out to be the one you were hoping for, I just did the math and the all-in price (including taxes, fees, resort fees, etc) for the $516 with yesterday's Hotwire Coupon comes to $4401... the all-in sale price of $523 above for the Fairmont comes to $4490; so there is less than a $100 difference in buying it 'known' with no risk of it being a different hotel vs. the hotwire hotel you were hoping was the Fairmont. Worth it to you to lock in at this price and 100% certainly of the hotel you want?
