R37Create
hi came across this nice website and i am very impressed by the way it helps people. thanks much. i would like some help on booking a decent place to stay on the strip. budget maximum 200$ per night i have a deal because of my membership with mirage for 170/night but got bored to go there often. i would like to find a diffrent better hotel at the same price range if i can. thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! (and THANKS!! for the compliments on the site ) The regular rate at The Mirage for your dates is $303/nite, and while we can easily beat this with PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, if you have a special casino rate of $170/nite i don't think we're going to be able to come close to that for these dates. (which are expensive as there are TWO conventions ending on the 14th that are about 9K attendees each and then 2018 Mr. Olympia taking place 9/14-9/15 with 45K attendees... that is about 60K+ extra demand for hotel rooms, which will have an effect on prices) What you could do is use our sister site RateDrop and set alerts for 5* (and 4.5*) hotels in the acceptable zones on the strip and set the alert price to $200 or so (or whatever price it would be worthwhile to pay a little more than you have for the Mirage for a 5* hotel)... our systems will monitor rates for your specific dates and send you an email should a 5* (or 4.5*) hotel drop below the alert price you choose. Let us know if you have any questions/issues using RateDrop. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Keep us updated on your progress and if anything else comes up OR if you ultimately stick with your current rate at The Mirage. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
