For this offer:

5* Punta Cana - Arena Gorda (confirm your dates on the landing page) for $180/nite with:
Free Parking
Free Breakfast
Fitness Center
Restaurant
No Smoking Rooms/Facilities
Free Internet
Indoor or Outdoor Pool
==> i'm not 100% certain, but the Nickelodeon Hotels and Resorts Punta Cana by Karisma All Inclusive would be my best guess for this one

Since this an extended stay, for increased confidence, you could see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'. If you're happy with the results purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay.

Thank you for your help, rate does drop to 135 per night from the listed 175 and it's an all-inclusive! I'm just not sure if we will have a problem with two adults and two kids for the second room. PRICELINE doesn't allow users to list children and the disclaimer on this deal states 2 person MAX!

Please include all pertinent information in your posts so we can give a complete response... how many rooms/adults/children do you need accommodations for?  How old are the kids?

If you did take this offer i think there is a high likelihood that you have an issue with more than double occupancy.  There are certain circumstances where it is probably OK to use PRICELINE EXPRESS for more than double occupancy, but not when the property is thought to be all-inclusive.

Is Arena Gorda the only acceptable zone or are other areas around Punta Cana acceptable as well?  Is there any specific needs/requirements for this trip and what is your maximum budget (per nite before fees/taxes)?

Thanks you for the follow-up, here are my requirements.

2 rooms

4 adults

2 children ages 2 and 6

Im looking for all inclusive resort in Punta Cana similar to let's say either the Royalton or Majestic. My goal is a 4-5 star rated property. I would like to spend about 250.00 per night per room.

Thanks again 😊

My apprehension is that i'm not 100% certain of this being the Niceklodeon and that there is nothing on the listing that indicates it's all-inclusive (so if it turned out to be something different you would have no recourse).

HOWEVER, if it is indeed the Nickelodeon it sounds like it would be awesome for the two kids.

So two ways you could go about this:
1) Book one/two nites (either for both rooms or just one room) in order to 'look behind the curtain' and confirm it's the Nickelodeon (or at least some other property that you would be happy with) and if so go ahead and purchase the remaining nites.  The risk here is that the hotel could disappear or no longer be offered after you make the first purchase and confirm it's an acceptable property.

2) Book this complete stay for two rooms, then call the hotel and ask about an additional charge for the kids.  Risk here is that they don't offer any program to add children the reservation or no rooms available to accommodate quad occupancy (although if it is indeed a Nickelodeon property i would think they have plenty of rooms that can handle quad occupancy since it would be a resort that is geared towards families)

3) Book this complete stay for 3 rooms as it would still be under your $500/day lodging costs for everyone in your group.  The risk here is that you may not be able to get connecting rooms (but again, if it is a Nick property i would think they have quite a few given the make-up of their clientele) which if successful would be a HUGE bonus since you would get have so much extra space

While there are some pros/cons associated with any of the methods above, they may be an acceptable risk looking at your alternatives... searching HOTWIRE for your dates for 2rooms/4adults/2children the least expensive 'decent' (70% or higher user recommendation) all-inclusive property starts at $240/nite which basically puts you at more than the price for 3 rooms of the PRICELINE EXPRESS offer above that has a 9+ user review ratings.

If bidding on PRICELINE i think you have quite a few issues... how do you ensure an all-inclusive property and guarantee that at least one of the rooms can accommodate quad occupancy?

If you do move forward by bidding note that priceline continues to move / hide their bidding form so we have set up the following page for easy access: BiddingForHotelRooms.com

Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread. Once you win a hotel, use the 'ADD REPLY and REPORT WIN' button on the upper right corner of the page to edit the topic title to reflect your win and to provide the details of your purchase. This helps keep the board better organized by reducing the number of unresolved threads that don't have any follow-up or conclusion.

For the hotel above I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you search using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool. (always use this method for your searches/purchases to ensure you're seeing the complete amenity set and for an easy comparison of PRICELINE vs. HOTWIRE, as well as to use our new IS THIS A GOOD PRICE feature).

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities (including any accessible amenities) then what you have listed above? Using this method, below is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for the 4.5 star hotel in this zone when searching for your dates:

4.5* HOTWIRE Punta Cana - Bavaro for $350.00
Free Parking
Resort
Beachfront
Casino
Food and Beverages
Premium Beverages
ala Carte
Water Sports
Smoke Free
Evening Entertainment
Daily Activities
Childrens Activities
Fitness
Pool
Restaurant
Business
Hi-Speed Internet
Golf
Tennis
Spa
Room Accessible
Bathroom Accessible
==> Barceló Bávaro Palace - All Inclusive would be my best guess for this one

I don't have any firsthand experience with Nickeodeon Punta Cana but most of the reviews i have read seem positive and i think the kids in your group would likely enjoy being at a Nick themed property (assuming of course they watch Nickelodeon at home and know the characters); but i will add that you're going to find negative reviews for just about any hotel, although this holds even truer for all-inclusive properties as you will get some that say the food is bad while other who thing it's awesome, some who find the drinks terrific and others who find them watered down and made with cheap liquor, some who are thrilled to have everything included while others complain about the lines to get service, etc, etc.

I went ahead and booked one night (to test) priceline Deal and IT WAS IN FACT the Nick😊

Cost me about $188 bucks  and when i went to add aditional nites the rate jumped to from 134 pn to 189pn.

Im guessing i just haveing to buy the additional 4 nights for the FIRST room and then book AGAIN for the second room for a total of 5 Nights. I'm worried that i may not get the Nick each time and then i am really in trouble . 😥

I also called the resort and got the run around inregard to adding 2 kids to the resevation. I was transfered to the resevation dept which goes to voice mail and then states the mail box is full!!

I called about 8 times so far. i wil try again tommarrow i guess.

p.s : on one occasion a front desk clerk did tell me for kids not on the reservation will incurr a 100.00 fee per night per child charge. thats about 1000.00 bucks

for a total of 2700. kinda kills the deal...

Or a better approach would be to book:

2 rooms 1/14-1/18

1 more room 1/13-1/14

==> this at least guarantees that for the bulk of your stay (1/14-1/18) the two rooms will be at the same property

When searching 1/14-1/18 i'm seeing what appears to be the same property:

5* Punta Cana - Arena Gorda (<-- CLICK HERE confirm your dates on the landing page) for $182/nite with:
Free Parking
Free Breakfast
Fitness Center
Restaurant
No Smoking Rooms/Facilities
Free Internet
Indoor or Outdoor Pool
==> but when you click the offer above the price drops from $182 to $134

If you're not willing to chance the 'unknown' additional charge for children you could always book a 3rd room.  However, when booking direct the room rate goes up by about $50 when adding 2 kids to a reservation, so that is the amount i would target when trying to negotiate with the hotel... although at all-inclusive properties it is not unknown for anyone not included in the original reservation to be $xx extra per nite.

Good luck and let us know what you decide and how it goes.

Did you try to point out that a regular rate booking with two children increases the price by $50/day and ask if you could pay this amount before your arrival to add the kids to the reservation.  I think all-inclusive properties are having an issue with guests trying to 'sneak' their kids into the hotel without paying for them (which is not fair to the hotel either since there are a lot of extras at all-inclusive properties, not to mention food as well).  Knowing how much my own kids eat (or don't eat, as the case may be) i do think $100 is excessive, but it's certainly not unheard of, as i'm familiar with a few other all-inclusive properties that charge about $100/day per kids that is not included in the original reservation (it's a little cheaper if you include the kids prior to arrival)
